Biographie

Dr. Ueli Grunder received his DMD degree from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, in 1982. His post-graduate education in advanced fixed prosthodontics also came from the University of Zurich. 

He received his specialist in fixed prosthodontics of the Swiss Society of Prosthodontics (SSRD) and in implantology of the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology (SGI).

He maintains a private practice together with Thomas Gaberthüel from 1989 – 2014 and with David Schneider and Ronald Jung since 2014 in Zollikon-Zurich and has published numerous papers and extensively lectured nationally and internationally on the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry. His book “Implants in the aesthetic zone” was published by Quintessence” 2015.

Dr. Grunder is Past-president of the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology (SSOI) and Past-President of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

  • <ol>Atteindre un résultat esthétique optimal en thérapie implantaire est une procédure difficile et à grande échelle. Un des aspects le plus important est la prévisibilité de nos résultats. Les différentes disciplines de la dentisterie qui sont impliqués (chirurgie buccale, chirurgie parodontale, prosthodontie) ne doivent pas être discutés séparément. <br><br>La seule façon d’obtenir un résultat satisfaisant est de prendre en considération tous les aspects possibles lors de chaque étape du traitement (planification du traitement, chirurgie, prothèses).<br><br>Différentes modalités et aspects de traitement pour le remplacement d’une dent unitaire et les cas partiellement édentés seront discutés.<br><br>À l’issue de cette formation, les participants devraient être capables de :</ol><ul><li>Utiliser avec succès des implants immédiats dans la zone esthétique</li><li>Comprendre la nécessité de procédures d’augmentation dans les différentes situations</li><li>Sélectionner la technique d’augmentation osseuse idéale dans les sites compromis de la zone esthétique</li><li>Connaître les différentes techniques d’augmentation des tissus mous</li><li>Comprendre comment travailler les tissus mous au stade prothétique</li></ul>

  • <p>Dear Members and friends of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry,<br><br>It is our great pleasure to announce the 34th EAED Spring Open Meeting, which will be held from May 26th to May 28th, 2022 in the magnificent city of Bordeaux, capital of one of the most famous wine regions. <br><br>The subject of our meeting is Excellence in Interdisciplinary Treatment.
