Biographie

Topic: Surgical and Prosthetic Protocols for Using Biphasic Ceramic Implants
Dr. Karapataki graduated from University of Athens in 1989. She furthered her studies by specializing in Periodontology and Implantology at the Institute for Postgraduate Dental Education in Jönköping Sweden. There she also sub-specialized in Oral Surgery, Radiology, TMJ, and Prosthetics on implants, Perio-prosthetics and General Pathology. Upon completion and was awarded the title of specialist Periodontologist-implantologist. She went on to further her studies at University of Gothenburg in Sweden where she obtained a Master of Science in 2001, the same year she completed her studies in prosthetic rehabilitation of facial defects with implants. Dr. Karapataki has been using ceramic implants exclusively since 2013. Her current academic activities are focused on the impact dental implant materials have on the immune system. She maintains a private practice in Athens, Greece since 1994.
