Biographie

Dr. Salama received separate post-doctoral specialty certificates in both periodontics and periodontal-prosthesis, fixed prosthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the former director of the Implant Research Center and Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Salama is currently in private practice in Atlanta, Geargia. The practice is limited to advanced restorative, esthetic and implant therapy. Dr. Salama lectures extensively nationally and internationally and has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals over the past 30 years. His clinical research activities focus on long-term stability of bone and soft tissue enhancement therapies, as well as minimally invasive techniques in esthetics and implant dentistry.

Dr. Salama is a member of the Scientific Committee of the leading Web based Dental Education website www.DentalXP.com.

  • <p><b>ESCD Annual meetings</b> are held once a year in order to provide the latest scientific information, to present different programme, workshops, trade exhibitions and social events to the delegates. <br>The standard of education is excellent, with world-class lecturers regularly presenting. This is where the truly world-class nature of our members’ access to the best cosmetic dentistry is revealed. <br>Then, there is a time to meet up with old friends and make many new ones. We gather on the regular basis to learn, but rather to discuss and generate new ideas, to benefit from networking with like-minded colleagues worldwide and to share experience and enthusiasm. <br><b>ESCD meetings</b> are also very good value. The Society tries to keep rates to a minimum to encourage all practitioners with a love of this area of dentistry to attend. Every year a meeting is held in a different European city. Over recent years these have included Vienna, London, Bucharest, Paris, Dubrovnik, Rome and Cannes to name but a few. ESCD attracts lecturers from all over the world. ‘Household’ names in dentistry as well as specially selected presenters able to educate on specific topics vital to successful cosmetic practices<br></p>
