Senior Scientist and Consultant in the Department of Structural Biochemistry, Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC and Cornell Medical School, NYC. NASA research program on space shuttle: The effect of Microgravity on in vitro calcification, NASA 1994 and 1995. In vitro initiation of biological calcification, Consultant and investigator, NIH grant RO 1-AR37661-01A1,for 20 years. Main research areas: Autogenic dentin as gold standard of alveolar ridge preservation. The biology of marginal gingiva and alveolar bone. Mechanism of periodontal diseases; Local treatment of bone resorption by Alendronate; Cell-matrix interaction in generation of bone. Author of more than 150 publications.
